What the tape shows
Style: Dual Threat Summary: Serviceable QB right now with the upside to become a high-level quarterback. Strong run threat with developing passing traits. Fits well in spread, RPO, and zone-read systems. Strengths: Legitimate edge threat — will outrun most DEs/LBs consistently. Has true home-run ability in space; can outrun DBs when he hits a crease. Functions well in RPO/Option structures; good initial read discipline. Keeps eyes downfield on extended plays; comfortable throwing on the move both directions. Throws a clean vertical ball; can push 45+ yards with adequate accuracy. Tries to influence defenders with his eyes — shows signs of mature QB play. Tough, competitive, willing to take hits. Passing Notes: Vertical game is his most comfortable area. Deep balls past 45 yards arrive on target but begin losing stride efficiency. Offense kept WRs wide, limiting evaluation of his ability on interior concepts. Needs improvement on crossing routes, timing routes, and layered reads. Late on some rhythm throws, leading to potential turnover windows. Concerns / Developmental Points: Anticipation and timing need to improve, especially in the short/intermediate game. Must develop progression comfort on full-field and middle-field concepts. Ball placement can drift when late on throws. Projection: Plug-and-play dual-threat with scheme versatility. If he cleans up timing and expands his intermediate read tree, he’s potentially a high-impact player.
