What the tape shows
Only reason he's not ranked as a 4 star or higher is because I only have Practice film to go off of. So much of his film is Teach tape. Have no idea how or why he didn't get on the field at Sacramento State. This is a D-Coordinator's dream, watched him play all over the secondary and shine at each position. He is a special special talent at DB. Elite press man skills, can see his thought process and communication in zone at Free Safety, Strong Safety, nickel and Cornerback. Does a phenomenal job staying square in press and kicking to stay on top rather than opening the gate. In off man in the slot he plays catch technique perfectly, staying flat and moving lateral to collision and then run. Makes great plays on the ball. The few times he is out of position, his length makes up for it, can improve at being more patient to his leverage in off man and not getting cross faced. From the few tackles I saw, he needs to clean up his form and run through the tackle more instead of waiting for contact. As I continue to watch his film again, I'm moving him up to 4 Star. This is my platform and I'm going against the grain.
