Devin Vaught

What the tape shows

Slow in pedal and flies down hill with good form and tracking inside hip. Takes great angles to the ball and usually is in great position to fir them up and he Pops on impact. Versatile safety who can be in the box, understands run blocking schemes and can also cover. Want to see him play QB eyes better sometimes in zone at times. Had a holeshot throw against toledo that he had a big hit on but wanted to see him take off earlier and make a play on the ball. Even though he's a big hitter he wraps up consistently. Like his confidence as a cover 2 safety, and how he settles in his pedal instead of just taking off. Also slow in his read steps which is a big key on why he's able to make so many plays in the run game. Week 4 of the season, will be watching for more
