What the tape shows

Sarratt is the most underrated prospect in this class at his position and one of the most broadly misunderstood evaluations in the 2026 cycle. Sarratt is a route-running craftsman — he uses head fakes, tempo changes, and body manipulation to open defensive backs' hips before his break, creating the extra step at the top of the route that allows him to work cleanly against man coverage despite not having elite straight-line speed. He is a savvy reader of zone coverage — he settles into voids quickly and presents as a clean, on-schedule throw rather than forcing a quarterback to navigate traffic. His willingness to work through contact is genuine; he uses his hands actively against press to dislodge jams, and he catches the ball across the middle with no hesitation around contact. The 15 touchdown season in 2025 as a National Champion is not a small-program stat. WILL - Polished, dependable and typically wins early, but not a high-end athlete—projects as a reliable possession receiver.
