What the tape shows
Explosive, aggressive downhill linebacker who attacks gaps with confidence. Natural playmaker in the backfield with a strong feel for timing blitzes and finding rushing lanes. Productive pass rusher from the second level. Strong closing burst once he identifies the ball carrier. Good instincts and quick play recognition, particularly against the run. Uses his hands well when navigating traffic and working through blocks. Needs more work on reading blocks faster. Taking time to identify routes in zone coverage instead of dropping into dead space will take him to next level.
