What the tape shows
Jahsear Whittington demonstrates a relentless approach as a pass rusher, consistently utilizing his speed to penetrate the backfield and pressure the quarterback. His discipline is evident in his ability to maintain gap integrity and outside contain, making him a reliable presence on the edge. While his anchor is adequate, his primary strength lies in his quickness and refined pass rushing moves, which allow him to effectively shed blocks and disrupt plays. Continued development of his lower body strength and anchor would further enhance his ability to hold up against power run schemes. Overall, Whittington projects as a dynamic defensive lineman with immediate impact potential as a pass rusher and a disciplined, high-motor defender.
