What the tape shows

Berger is a tall, long-striding runner with good vision and patience. He shows a natural feel for setting up blocks in zone schemes and has enough burst to hit the hole when it opens. He is a reliable receiver out of the backfield. His major concerns are a lack of elite play strength and top-end speed to pull away from defenders. He can be brought down by initial contact and needs to improve in pass protection.
