What the tape shows
Shows great flashes but overall needs to become more consistent, too much volatility. Big, Physical CB who is great at block destruction and plays angry against run. Long corner who makes plays on the ball, but needs to do a better job staying in phase. 2 breakups vs ECU came from under thrown balls downfield and beat deep on a 3rd one that was dropped . Not one to test in the screen game, sheds blocks quickly and with a purpose. Unpolished in press, has the tools to be a lot better if his eyes and feet were more disciplined. Then he'd be able to use his arms to get better punch and disruption on WR releases. Shows some really good reps, when he kicks lateral but needs more consistency. Not a fan of when he tried to quick jam with 1 arm on snap, better suited to sit square and punch. Smart Football player and understands leverage very well in perimeter and run fits. Needs to wrap better on some of his tackles but consistently gets to the right leverage and angle.
