What the tape shows

🎥 Film Summary: Kyle Williams is one of the most underrated separators in the 2025 NFL Draft class. He’s a route-running technician with elite feet, suddenness, and a deep bag of release moves that consistently leave corners in recovery mode. Off the line of scrimmage, Williams is virtually unguardable — showing the ability to beat both press and off-man coverage with ease. What sets him apart is how explosive and efficient he is in and out of breaks. His route pacing and transitions are so clean that DBs rarely have time to recover once they bite. He threatens leverage early and wastes no motion getting open. Whether it’s a slant, post, dig, or double move, Williams creates space and turns corners around routinely. Once the ball is in his hands, he’s dangerous. He’s a fast, decisive runner with excellent burst and vision in space — regularly making defenders miss and tacking on extra yards after the catch. He’s a nightmare against man coverage, and when used properly, he can attack all three levels of the field. Statistically, Williams quietly put together a strong 2023 season at Wazzu, averaging 13.6 yards per catch while being a consistent chain-mover and big-play threat in the Cougars' spread offense.
