Maealiuaki started two games as a true freshman. The greatest up side to this player is his youth. He made decisive throws against Texas Tech, most throws being first read throws that were short to intermediate. Play ability dropped tremendously against Colorado when under constant distress. Most consistent throw was the slant. Also shows the capability to be used in the run game.
