🎥 Film Summary: Malaki Starks is a player who flashes elite traits but needs more consistency in his game. Against Georgia Tech and Texas, he had several missed tackles, looked out of place in coverage, and lacked awareness in zone. But in the Alabama matchup, he looked like a completely different player — flying downhill, making open-field tackles, and staying tighter in coverage. He’s excellent when triggering downhill, and his length and athleticism pop in press coverage, but he loses positioning the further he’s asked to play off. Man coverage and deep zone feel are areas that still need refinement.
