What the tape shows
Style: Dual Threat Strengths: True dual-threat — defenses must account for the QB run. Play-action is effective because of his running ability. Capable of driving the ball ~60 yards when he’s set. Can function in a quick-game/checkdown structure. Passing Notes: Majority of attempts are within 0–10 yards. Intermediate and vertical field largely untested due to play style/decision tendencies. Relies heavily on short throws; rarely pushes the ball downfield unless forced. Will throw across his body, creating unnecessary turnover risk. Concerns / Developmental Points: Must eliminate cross-body attempts — high-risk mechanics. Needs to develop comfort with mid-field reads and layered route concepts. Needs improved trust in throwing windows past 10 yards. Vertical arm is present but underutilized. Projection: High-ceiling athlete with a big arm, but passing game is currently limited. If he matures in decision-making, expands intermediate usage, and stops forcing cross-body throws, he becomes a viable option in RPO/play-action spread systems.
