What the tape shows

Has some HIGH level reps but needs to be more consistent and more confident.Has ability to stay square in off man back pedal and explode out of his break, made a great play against Oregon backed up. Gave up a catch in press on a slant, opened gate and allowed for easy catch to his leverage. Does a really good job of weaving in off man to his leverage. Can play too high at times which effects his short area quickness. Has the ability to stay square in press coverage and mirror WR's but want to see him do it more consistently. Want to see him attack more in the run game rather than waiting and catching. Has to improve consistency, at his peak he can be one of the best CB's in his conference, but at times he has mental lapses/ technical lapses. Vs USC he had a lot more press reps and majority of them were much better, staying square and widening WR's release. Had USC WR Duce Robinson in jail and bullied him all game. At times he was placed at Safety and I think that could be a really good fit for him. Also need to see better backside pursuit when play is away from him. Does a good job plastering to wr's in Scramble Drill.
